I have been in love with Smartwool socks for a few years now. I ask for them every Christmas, and I now I have a nice collection of light-weight and heavy-weight pairs in various colors. They are not itchy, like you might imagine a wool sock would be. In fact, they are luxuriously soft. And, wool does a better job at wicking moisture than cotton. I vow never to wear cotton socks again!
